"In Another Life" - Active Child
Oh how I have missed the vocals and strings of Active Child. Missed this whole album when it came out last year, but enjoying it tremendously with a fire going and the snow starting to fall.
"Thirteen" - Bedouine, Waxahatchee, Hurray For The Riff Raff
I love Waxahatchee and I love a good Elliot Smith cover.
"93 or 94" - Frances Cone
I had not heard anything from these guys until this past week but think I will be taking a look through their discography. '93 or '94 has a steady rumbling rhythm backed by haunting vocals that remind me of On An On.
"claws" - Hovvdy
Oh the surprising beauty that can be found in monotone vocals and bands that swap their W's for double V's (see Alvvays).
