An energy and carbon-credit SaaS platform that resulted in PineSpire being successfully acquired by Xpansiv.
About the project
PineSpire helped companies participate in Clean Fuel Programs and earn revenue from carbon credits. I led the technical build of their energy and carbon-credit platform — a custom web application, quarterly ETL pipelines, and an electrification planning tool for fleet operators — plus a custom metering solution (hardware, firmware, IoT, and reporting) to meet new regulatory metering requirements. PineSpire was acquired by Xpansiv in fall 2024. I went on to lead the migration of all PineSpire data and services into Xpansiv's systems.
